Today is the 42nd birthday of Richard Armitage – in other words, it’s Armitage Day! How are you spending it? Turns out, I was asleep for half of it. I meant to write a post about Leicester for today, but umm, I was sound asleep. So that’ll have to wait. Anyhoo:
Richard, I know you won’t read this, but still, hope you have a wonderful birthday. All the best of luck with Hobbit 2 and Black Sky (which might not be called Black Sky when it actually comes out) and anything else you get up to. 🙂
Sleeping is good! I’ve been getting less since I am back to work again. I almost missed Armitage Day myself as I was busy entertaining guests last night and then too tired to stay up to finish my post so it had to wait until after I came home today.
I will enjoy reading your post on Leicester whenever you get around to it. 🙂
Sleeping is very good. Hope you had fun entertaining guests! 🙂 Let’s face it, it’s not like Armitage Day is some sort of actual international holiday or anything. We can write blog posts wishing the man a happy birthday but he’s not going to read them anyway, so if we can’t/don’t write anything, or write it after the fact … it’s not like we’re insulting him or anything. He’s busy with his life, we’re busy with ours, no worries. Sometimes I think we need to take a step back and realise what’s REALLY important and what isn’t. 🙂
Happy Armitage Day! It *is* an international holiday, just not for him 🙂 Though I hope he had a great day.
I hope so too. He’s working very hard, so hopefully he got to have a little bit of a break on his birthday. 🙂
