In Sweden, we don’t really do the big chocolate eggs and give to people. We have cardboard eggs that are either printed with an Easter motif or, like this, wrapped in a colourful foil. These eggs then get filled with pick and mix candy. Or, as was the case when this photo was taken, foil-wrapped chocolate eggs.
To find out more about Swedish Easter, I suggest having a look at Swedish Ways: Påsk. 🙂
Lidl are great for cheap but really good quality chocolate, by the way. If you’ve never been there because you think it’s cheap and nasty, think again. Go there and get some J.D. Gross 70% Ecuador chocolate and you’ll know what I mean. You would expect a much bigger price tag for chocolate like that!
