Unexpected Heartthrobs: Gene Kelly

Thanks to Charlene C for the tip. Gene Kelly. DAYUM! Also, he reminds me ever so slightly of Jonny Lee Miller, but I can’t put my finger on it.

And here we are, thinking we’re spoiled to ogle guys like Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Ohhh no, the Golden Age of Hollywood apparently had DROVES of handsome leading men!

Traxy Thornfield

A Swedish introvert residing in Robin Hood Country (Nottingham, UK) with a husband and two cats. She's an eager participant in tabletop and play-by-post roleplaying, woodworking, photography and European travel, when there's not a plague on. Might get a novel out one of these days, if she doesn't get too distracted along the way.

  1. Ohmygosh! I LOVE GENE KELLY SO MUCH! And I think you are totally onto a resemblance w/ JLM…maybe in the jawline, general shape of the face? That’s where I’m seeing it. 🙂

  2. Yay! Definitely there were tons of gorgeous leading men back then! But could they dance as gracefully and beautifully as Gene Kelly? Nope! 😀
