The first trailer for Wuthering Heights (2011) has arrived, and boy, doesn’t it look dreary? It’s like it’s got “emo” written all over it. Suits you, sir.
It’s out 11 November 2011 in the UK and some time in 2012 in the US.
A Swedish introvert residing in Robin Hood Country (Nottingham, UK) with a husband and two cats. She's an eager participant in tabletop and play-by-post roleplaying, woodworking, photography and European travel, when there's not a plague on. Might get a novel out one of these days, if she doesn't get too distracted along the way.

Dang it! I got all excited and stupid work is blocking the video… 🙁
Hmm. Looking at it again, with sound, and considering the praise it got at the Venice Film Festival, I have to say that it looks like the film is going to be tremendously boring. The critics are falling over themselves squeeing, it’s dark and depressing, very little dialogue … I can see myself in the cinema wanting to either snore or cry and wish for the suffering to end. If not, I’d be surprised.
(Ehh, yeah, I’m definitely with Dapoppins when it comes to WH!)

Ugh. Never been a fan of WH, though this preview was pretty, I still probably won’t watch it.
I love romance too much to love WH…and the movie looks, scary and depressing. I don’t understand the appeal.
